Bjorn has been at MapGear for five years and combines his work with a study, linking theory and practice. He is involved in a wide range of GIS work: data processing, map production and the development of MapServices. An important part of his work is executing and further developing solar panel detections for Duurzaamheidskaart, turning spatial data into concrete, usable insights. He also prepares, enriches and structures datasets so they are directly usable in GeoApps and remain reliable for clients. His broad GIS knowledge and precise approach make him a key link between raw data and applicable geo-solutions. In his free time he is often outdoors, canoeing or mountain biking.
